A golden cinnamon treat

Churros.... has taken the world by storm.
Golden brown cinnamon dipped goodness , perfectly paired with a chocolate sauce.

who knew a simple choux pastry could be so delicious

below is a recipe that I have used.

you will need
1/2 cup of milk
1/2 cup of water
2 tablespoons sugar
1/4teaspoon salt
6 tablespoons butter
1 cup flour
1 egg

Oil for frying
1/2 powder sugar and 1teaspoon cinnamon

In a pot heat milk , water , sugar , salt , butter and bring to a boil add in flour and stir until liquid and flour combined , add in egg in the dough once mixture has cooled.

Fill a pot with oil about 5cm deep, and heat on low heat, tranfer dough mixture to a piping bag with star tip
have paper towel ready on a plate for churros to drain.

pipe out mixture and use a scissor to cut off. Frying time is about 2-3minutes or until golden brown on medium heat. Once drained roll in cinnamon sugar and enjoy.

pair up with chocolate sauce and coffee
