Taiwanese Sponge cake that will have you coming back for more

Taiwanese sponge cake These cakes are incredible a little different from what I usually make , but so worth the try. This cake must be taken out of the oven , and immediately taken out of the pan and cut not sure why but it's an amazing cake to try at least once. You will need: 6 egg yolks 75ml oil 60ml milk 100grams of cake flour 6 egg whites (chilled) 75grams caster sugar 1/2 teaspoon salt Method Grease an 8'' pan. A square one preferably. In a pan heat the oil slightly , remove from heat and add in flour. Mix flour and oil till well combined, Add in milk and whisk , once milk has been combined add in egg yolks one at a time. In a bowl whisk egg whites , caster sugar and salt till soft peaks. Add egg white mixture a little at a time and mix with spatula till combined. Preheat oven to 150degreees and bake for 1hour in bath of water. Make sure to use baking paper in container so that removal is easy xx Dolly

Custard Pillows

Custard Pillows is simple that's all I can really say. Puff pastry and custard is all you need. You will need : Pastry 2 sheets ready puff pasty For the Cream you will need: 1 cup / 250 ml heavy cream 2 Table spoons sugar 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract For the Custard Cream you will need: 1 large deep pot 1/4 cup sugar 2 eggs 1 egg yolk 2 tablespoons corn starch 250 ml milk 1 tablespoon butter On a lightly floured surface roll out pastry sheets approximately 1/2cm thick and cut only 1 of the 2 sheets into rectangles what ever size you'd like , I usually cut the rectangles in 8cm long pieces and YES! I use a ruler to cut my little rectangles. Once cut chill pastry in fridge and heat oven to 400F Bake pastry for 15minutes For cream , add cream , sugar and vanilla extract in mixing bowl and whip till peaks form , be careful to not over whip and make butter. The cheat cheesecake

The Most simple cheat cheesecake! we all need that quick and easy cheat recipe , for me its a simple cheesecake , did I mention its an oreo cheesecake?! You surely have most of the ingredients in your kitchen. 25 oreo biscuits 3 tablespoons butter Crush biscuits and add melted butter together , pat in tray and set aside to chill in fridge. 12 Oreo biscuits roughly chopped 100mls condensed milk 250ml cottage / cream cheese 1 teaspoon vanilla essence 1teaspoon gelatine (mix with 1tablespoon hot water - cool down before adding to mixture) mix about together 250ml fresh cream Beat cream till soft peaks appear and fold into cottage cheese mixture. Pour cream mixture over base and decorate with crushed oreos. Many more easy bake and dessert recipes coming. xx
